SF Women's Tennis Opens League Play at Marian
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's tennis team opened Crossroads League play at No. 11 Marian University on Sunday, February 22. The Cougars were defeated 7-0 by the Knights.
In doubles action, Isabela Florez and Alejandra Parra dropped a 6-1 decision at No. 1. Marian secured the doubles point with 6-0 victories at both No. 2 and No. 3.
In singles play, Parra competed at the No. 1 spot, falling 6-2, 6-0 to Yasmin Imamniyazova. Anna Yoder also represented the Cougars at No. 4 singles, dropping a 6-2, 6-1 decision to Emma Chrome.
Up next, the Saint Francis tennis teams will host Indiana University East at the Wildwood Racquet Club on Friday, February 27 at 1:00 p.m.
