USF Falls to IWU in Crossroads League Quarterfinals
MARION, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's soccer team concluded the 2024 season at Indiana Wesleyan in the Crossroads League Quarterfinal round on Wednesday, November 6.
The No. 6 seeded Cougars fell to the No. 3 Wildcats by a final score of 3-0.
In the first half, IWU scored their first goal of the night at the 17:08 mark. Indiana Wesleyan would score again in the 33rd and 75th minutes to win Wednesday night's game and advance to the Crossroads League Semifinals.
USF women's soccer ends their season with an overall record of 9-6-4 and a conference record of 2-5-2, earning the Cougars a spot in the Crossroads League Tournament for the first time since the 2020 season. On the season, Saint Francis scored 20 goals and averaged 9.9 shots per game with a shot-on-goal percentage of .521.
