No. 7 Saint Francis Stays Unbeaten with 119-46 Win Over Grace

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The No. 7 Cougars from the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) women's basketball team hosted the Grace College Lancers in a Crossroads League matchup, earning a commanding 119-46 victory on Saturday, November 22, at the Hutzell Athletic Center.

Saint Francis started strong, with sophomore guard Cali Gregory scoring 26 points in the first quarter, helping the Cougars establish a 40-17 lead. The Cougars finished the half with a 27-point lead after scoring a total of 19 points in the second quarter.

The dominant performance continued in the second half, as the Cougars held the Lancers to just 14 points while scoring 60 to secure the 119-46 win. Saturday's victory extends the Cougars' winning streak to eight games as Saint Francis remains unbeaten on the season with an overall record of 8-0 and a league record of 2-0.

Saint Francis shot 59.5% (47-79) from the floor and 59.3% (16-27) from beyond the three-point arc. Cali Gregory led the Cougars with 29 points, making 7-9 three-point shot attempts in 26 minutes of action. Renna Schwieterman added 16 points, eight rebounds, four assists and a block. Isabella Gizzi contributed 11 points and nine rebounds, while Allison Scheu also finished with 11 points and two steals. 

Up next, the Cougars (8-0, 2-0 CL) will travel to Olivet Nazarene University for a non-league game on Monday, November 24, before facing No. 13 Indiana Wesleyan University for a road league matchup against the Wildcats on Wednesday, December 3.
