Cougars win streak halts after valiant effort against Wildcats, 73-81
FORT WAYNE, IN. -- Your University of Saint Francis women's basketball team faced Indiana Wesleyan a valiant effort ensued but came up short losing 73-81.
Notable performances from Saint Francis included Julia Mantyla leading the team with 18 points, followed by Carley Culberson with 15 points off the bench. Other contributors were Emily Parrett with 8 points, Taylor Fordyce with 8 points, and Reganne Pate with 10 points. Saint Francis displayed a 45.0% field goal percentage and a 36.0% success rate from three-point range. They also had a strong performance at the free-throw line, making 90.9% of their free throws.
