Cougars Start CL Play off 1-0 & add to a 4-Game Winning Streak
UPLAND, Ind. -- On Saturday afternoon, the USF Lady Cougars (7-1) traveled to Upland, Indiana to continue their winning streak against the Taylor University Trojans (3-6). With a final score of 68-41, the Cougars set the tone in the first quarter by preventing any significant transitional fast-break play by the Trojans.
The Cougars led from early on, and never took their foot off the gas. By utilizing their bench, USF was able to give game and conference experience to all players rostered in the dominant win. Ally Madden contributed greatly off the bench, scoring 20 points. Juniors Chloe McKnight and Emily Parrett also led the game with 13 rebounds and 3 assists combined.
The Cougars will continue their season at home tomorrow night playing host to the Goshen College Maple Leafs. Tip-off is set for 5:30pm prior to the men's game at 7:30pm.
