Relay Record Highlights League Championships for Saint Francis
MARION, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) men's outdoor track and field team competed at the 2026 Crossroads League Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University on April 30-May 1.
Saint Francis finished 10th as a team at this year's league championships.
The 4x800m relay team of Emmanuel Langat, Festus Kurgat, Taylor Stubbins, and Zane Strydom set a new program record with a time of 7:42.84, placing seventh overall.
Drew Boggs led the Cougars individually with a fourth-place finish in the high jump, clearing 2.00m (6' 6.75").
Sam Htoo added an eighth-place finish in the javelin with a throw of 41.25m (135' 4").
The NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held May 20-22 in Asheville, North Carolina, at the Karl Straus Track at UNC Asheville. Boggs has hit the NAIA B standard in the high jump and currently holds the fifth-best mark in the NAIA.
