Saint Francis Competes at Don Kleinow Memorial

ADRIAN, Mich. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Don Kleinow Memorial, hosted by Siena Heights University on April 23-24.

The Cougars recorded multiple top-10 finishes along with several program top-10 performances.

Emmanuel Langat secured first place in the 800m with a personal best time of 1:54.46, the second fastest in school history. Langat also placed fourth in the 1,500m with a time of 3:56.86.

Zane Strydom and Festus Kurgat also turned in top-10 program performances in the 800m. Strydom finished second overall with a time of 1:55.42, ranking third in school history, while Kurgat placed sixth at 1:59.00.

Kurgat added a personal-best mark in the 1,500m, finishing in 4:02.42 to rank among the program's top 10.

Up next, the Cougars will travel to Marion, Indiana, for the 2026 Crossroads League Outdoor Track and Field Championships on April 30 and May 1.
