Cougars Set Two School Records, Hit NAIA B Standard at Georgia Tech Invitational

ATLANTA, Ga. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) outdoor track and field teams traveled to Georgia to compete at the Georgia Tech Invitational on April 17-18. 

The Saint Francis men's and women's track and field teams recorded two school records, an NAIA "B" standard mark, and multiple program top-10 performances over the weekend.

Drew Boggs led the way with a first-place finish in the high jump, clearing a school-record height of 2.06 meters (6'9") to meet the NAIA B standard.

Emmanuel Langat posted SF top-10 marks in both the 800m (1:55.27) and 1,500m (3:54.77).

Zane Strydom also recorded two personal-best times that rank among the program's top 10, finishing the 800m in 1:56.53 and the 1,500m in 3:58.29.

On the women's side, Arina Taylor broke her own school record in the 200m with a time of 25.62.

Lauren Moore recorded a program top-10 mark in the 800m, finishing in 2:20.62.

Andrea Pfau posted the fourth-fastest 5,000m time in program history, crossing the line in 18:16.78.

Up next, the Cougars will return to action on April 23-24 at the Don Kleinow Memorial hosted by Siena Heights University before competing at the 2026 Crossroads League Championships on April 30-May 1.
