Saint Francis Football Releases 2026 Football Schedule
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The University of Saint Francis (Ind.) football team has announced its schedule for the 2026 season.
Head Coach Adam Sherman enters his second season at the helm of the program after leading the Cougars to a 10-3 record and an appearance in the NAIA Football Championship Series Second Round in 2025. Saint Francis also posted a 4-1 mark in the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Midwest League.
The Cougars will compete in the MSFA Mideast League in 2026.
Saint Francis opens the season with two road games at Campbellsville University (August 29) and Olivet Nazarene University (September 5). The Cougars will then host Marian University in their home opener on September 12, marking the first-ever regular-season non-conference meeting between the two programs.
Crossover play against MSFA Midwest opponents continues as Saint Francis travels to newcomer Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College on September 26. Homecoming weekend is set for October 3, when the Cougars host the Fighting Saints of the University of St. Francis (Ill.). The Cougars wrap up non-conference play at Judson University on October 10.
Saint Francis opens MSFA Mideast play at Madonna University on October 17 before traveling to Lawrence Technological University on October 24. The Cougars close out October with a home contest against Defiance College on October 31.
Saint Francis travels to Indiana Wesleyan University on November 7 before closing out the regular season at home against Taylor University on November 14 at Bishop John M. D'Arcy Stadium.
