Tryout Information

Tryouts for the 2009-10 school year will be held on April 18.  Tryouts will be held at North Campus building.  The day will start at 8:00am and will run until 5:00pm.  You will learn demonstrated material and practice tryout requirement skills in the morning.  You will then have 1 hour for lunch.  Beginning at 1:oopm, judging will start.  Teams will be posted following the traditional tryout and a team meeting will start at 4:oopm.  You are required to come "game ready" with appropriate hair and make-up.  Please wear blue, white, or black with little to no writting.  Contact Coach Nicole Henline for more information.
         
All members cheer for the football season from August-December

Blue Team:

Team of 8-12 co-ed members who cheer for the Men's and Women's basketball seasons from November-March

White Team:

Team of 12-20 all-girl members who cheer for the Men's and Women's basketball seasons from November-March

Competition:

Team of 16-20 members who compete in several college competitions.  Requires higher cheerleading skills and tumbling.  Must be in addition to one of the above three teams. 

Requirements: 

Toe-touch, Double Toe-touch, Pike jumps; perform our school Fight Song; Perform 1 cheer; Either All-Girl full and lib or Co-ed toss-hands-extension; preferred standing backhandspring
